I had received this dress as a gift,and was so pleased with the comfortable but very stylish fit of this dress that I had to purchase it in another colour. The dress is so versatile, in that it can be worn to work with a jacket, to dinner because of the sexy cut, for travel because it requires let or no ironing and as a casual/beach attire because of the straps. I would highly recommend the purchase of this dress.

This dress is going to the beach. With a few minor alterations in the bust and waist it will be perfect. As a perfect 2X, hour glass every thing needs a tuck here and there. I do wish it were a bit longer though. The straps are adjustable and you rarely see that detail. Overall, a decent purchase.

Very pretty dress. Not brown at all, but a very pretty plum color. The picture is a bit deceiving, because this dress is not flowy at all. The fabric is too thick. You can dress it up a bit with accessories, but, it is definitely a casual dress. I am 5'6" and it hits just above my ankles. I'll be taking this with me on my cruise in February.

I bought this dress to wear for a friends wedding...she is have a small simple affair and this dress is prefect...and I will be able to wear it again and again!! I love it! The color wasn't exactly what I expected..more plum then brown ..but I wasn't at all disappointed

From the picture, I assumed a more "empire" waist was coming, but when I tried it on, it was not what I was expecting. It tugged in all the wrong places everywhere except in the bust--there it was perfect. I'm trying it in a larger size, but am worried that it will only be the opposite!

I really like the dress. It is as described in the ad. The only negative is the small "ruffle" around the empire waist. I'd rather that not be there. Otherwise, it is great!

I am torn of how I would wear this dress. I like the style, but the material makes it feel 'sloppy'. I wanted to make this part of my fall attire, but it is very lightweight for cooler nights. I was disappointed that the brown color looks like some shade of purple.
