    The coat is straight-cut and is not suitable for people with large hips. I bought my usual size, 3X, and still had to create side slits to ease the fit. Being short, I had to shorten the sleeves. The pockets, however, seem to be a comfortable height.

    The coat will be a good transition from the heavy down coat I use for our winters through what passes for early spring up here in Alaska.

      I like this coat a lot however, the material that was used to make the pockets is very, very thin. I already have holes in both pockets, and the only thing I've put in the pockets are gloves and a few kleenex.
