    This is a heavy robe, however, I do not consider it a con. I think that is part of it's being warm, cozy and comfortable. It's one of those robes that makes you feel all warm and secure on a cool stormy night. It's very well made and colors. When this one wears out (if ever) I will replace it with the same!

              After reading the other reviews before I purchased the robe, I washed it before I wore it to avoid having it shed lint. A lot of lint accumulated in the dryer, so this was a good move. It's about the right length, a few inches above the ankle. (I'm 5'6")

              Generously cut, thick and warm. Although it is easy to snag, the other features outweigh the one drawback. I would buy it again. I couldn't believe it weighed so much. It is sooo warm, and that is why I bought it. I was surprised at the thickness of the terry cloth when today's garments are so skimpy.

                I bought this for my future daughter-in-law who is on her feet all day long, but she wasn't one to wear slippers...a bit too old fashioned for her. When this arrived, she fell in love with both the robe and slippers. She had asked for a robe that was extra large so she could be enveloped by it. She was very happy with her birthday present, as was I. Guess you could say we made an old fashioned girl out of her.

When I got this in the mail it was VERY heavy[...]I purposely ordered it a size too big because I was afraid it would shrink when I wash it. I put it on after a bath and it dries me within minutes.
