I must admit I was a bit disappointed when i opened the box only b/c of the "cheaper" leather. However once i tried them on, they won me over. These are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned and to top it off they look great with leggings as well as jeans. They're (almost)perfect, not to bulky around the ankle, not tight around my calf and mine is 17" and i can definitely dress them up or down. I would've given them 5 stars if the leather would've been top quality. I just hope they last me more than a year!

Due to me having a wide calf, I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of this boot. I am planning to purchase another pair in a different color. Love the comfort and style!!!

I'd like to first say the fit of the foot is GREAT! The calf size was a bit small for my calf and I had a lot of trouble getting them zipped up. I am in the process of stretching them, since they are made of leather. There is a lack of support/insole and you'll need to put your own in. The sole isn't thick and you can feel everything on the balls of your feet when walking. I have a feeling the soles will wear out quickly. Otherwise, a great boot. For around $70 you can't beat it. But, more money will get you better quailty.

Calf narrower than other wide-calf boots I've gotten from this retailer. In addition, the shoe part seems excessively "clunky" (very large heel and square toe box).

As far as look, comfort, all around use these are wonderful. However, the boot is still totally great looking and has a lot of wear except the heel blew out at the front and will need to be repaired in order to be able to wear them comfortably. I have a freind with 2 pair of the same boot and hers did exactly the same thing. It is the only thing keeping me from buying any more. With the heel blown out it makes them uncomfortable, otherwise the calf width was good. And until the heel blew out they were very comfortable. I would recommend them to a friend if it weren't for the heel issue.

as someone with arthritis in both feet(due to an injury); i was very please with these boots. the only thing missing is the insole/cushion. after a few hours my feet were aching from the ball and arch .

I just got my boots today and I thought I wasn't going to be able to fit them but, I tried them on and they fit so good and they are comfortable, I ordered them in black and red, can't wait to wear them with different outfits !!!!
