Best shoes I've found for my flat feet and chronic foot problems. My orthotics also fit perfectly into these shoes and it doesn't make them too loose around the ankle. Wear them for casual, daily work at my nursing job, and for walking as well. Will always come back to these shoes!!!

I bought these shoes specifically for walking to better my health. I have never bought shoes over the internet before. I was pleasantly surprised that they fit and really felt great right out of the box. They are very cushioned for walking and were comfortable that first mile and no blisters at all.

I am on my feet most of the day.......these were purchased as "work" shoes.......but I find myself reaching for them even when I am not working......they were recommended by a phys. for a co-worker who has chronic back problems........They are great....no "break-in" time needed......I have seen the black and white offered but do you have them in a brown or beige?

I've worn New Balance 574's, 575's and now will wear the 576's. All of them are extremely comfortable. My first purchase was when they were recommended by my podiatrist, as I had foot problems brought on by cheaper quality shoes. I worked at an elementary school for 19 yrs. and did yard duty as well as my aide position. You cannot beat these shoes for comfort, durability, and good looks. I believe I received the 576's as they have now replaced the 575's. That's OK with me as the 576's appear to be just as great a shoe as the previous styles.

I recently went on a bus trip and used these for all my walking (I did previous "break" them in) I found them to be very uncomfortable after a few hours. I would suggest cross trainers for a lot of walking use. These are good for short term and looking nice.

This is the only shoe that I have purchased that I do NOT have to have a " Break-In" period like most shoes. Most of the time they tell you to not wear new shoes if you are doing things like a Walk-A-Thon but I wore these and had NO blisters, Hot Spots or anything. THEY ARE GREAT !!!!!!

For most of the day I use a wheelchair, having a shoe that provides plenty of balance when I do walk is of utmost importance. New balance shoes provide me with good balance and the confidence I need when standing or walking short distances.
