    The shoes are very comfortable to stand in while working , especially if you have to stand for eight hours. All my co-workers like them and some have ordered the same shoe.

    I normally wear size 8W in just about everything I buy. I ordered an 8W, expecting it to fit just fine! The front part of the shoe (toe and ball of foot area) was still not wide enough, but the heel was loose, and slid up and down on my heel when I moved (a blister waiting to happen, for sure!) Also, from the picture I expected a more rounded toe, and it was tapered, though not quite pointy.At least the toe box was high enough so it didn't rub the top of my toes!

    I find that the Hush Puppies Ionic is very comfortable. The cushiony soles are easy on my back and my feet when I walk. I could walk a distance with these shoes on and I am fine. And the leather is light on the feet too. Not a heavy cumbersome shoe. It also is an attractive shoe and can be worn any where really.

    I have been suffering with heals spur pain (specially made inserts did not help). However, within 30 days of wearing this shoe (without using the specially made inserts), my heal spur pain virtually disappeared!!
