I really love this gown. I have returned other gowns because of itchy lace, but the lace on this gown was not itchy at all. It was very comfortable, and because it is made of a fairly light weight woven cotton, I would wear it in any weather. I an going to order more.

This gown is very comfortable to wear around the house like a lounger and is pretty enough to answer the door in. All long gowns tend to bunch up when you sleep, but this isn't any worse than any other gown. I love it and the price is right!

Scratchy, Uncomfortable Trim

Nice Deep Hemline Ruffle, Nice Design
Cons:
Itchy, Uncomfortable

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Love the appearance of the nightgown but was unable to keep it on for more than a couple of minutes. The lace trim on the sleeves is extremely scratchy and uncomfortable. I tried cutting it off but that just left a stiff, sharp edge remaining. Will try to remove it all as soon as I can find my seam-ripper. Of course, the edge of the sleeves will probably then ravel out. Why a manufacturer would apply a "barbed-wire" trim to a sleepwear garment labeled "Comfort Choice" is beyond me.

Too warm

I bought this short sleeved gown for summer wear. It is a fairly heavy knit with short sleeves. That makes it kind of a cross between and winter and summer gown, at least here in central California. I will have to wear it more like spring and fall, when the nights are cooler but not cold. But it is very comfortable to wear.

Nice length, itchy sleeves
By Jen WrenVerified Purchaser from Zion, IL. on 5/14/2008

Comfortable, Nice Design, Soft, Warm, Well Made
Cons:
Itchy
Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

I like the length of the nightgown because I can curl up in it on the couch when I watch TV. The only thing I do not like about the gown is the lace border at the sleeves --- it's very itchy.

The gown seems true to size and well-made, but smells really funny. I'm going to run it through the laundry. If the smell doesn't go away, I'm sending it back.
