Possibly one of the nicest gowns I have ever owned. Shopping in many stores I noticed that it was difficult to get 100% cotton nightgowns. They were mostly shiny rayon or poly/knits, both of which are not very comfortable during hot summer months. This summer, I purchased 4 Dreams & Co short lightweight cotton gowns with embroidered flowers from "Woman Within."
I live in New Jersey, where the last few years the weather has stayed warmer, longer.
These longer gowns are made very well with substancially weighted cotton (even the white gown). I am 5'6" and the hem stops right at the top of my foot. The fit was perfect, like it was made for me. These are also perfect for lounging because you can't see through them.
I liked them so much that I bought all three colors!

In reading some of the reviews I'm not sure if some of these reviewers are talking about THIS nightgown.I purchased this nightgown in white and I liked it so much that I ordered a blue one which should arrive tomorrow and I'll probably aorder the pink one too.No matter what the season, my brick home is always too warm. The material is just thick enough that you cannot see through it. I'm 5'6" and the bottom reaches the top of my foot. It seems a bit pricy, buy consider that nightgowns are 22 to 24 dollars, not to mention other less expensive stores where I have seen nightgowns with not even close to these gowns in quality are [$]. Kind of puts the price in prespective!

I love this gown except I wish it didn't have the ruffle at the bottom. That extra fabric makes it bulky and isn't necessary. Otherwise, it's very comfortable. The fabric is heavy enough that you can't see through it so I can wear it around the house in the morning and lounging before bed. Yet, it's light enough for hot, humid nights. Very nice!

I had recently purchased this gown in another color and loved it, it is lightweight and cool, when I received the last one, they had changed the fabric to a heavier weave and it is not as comfortable for sleeping. I wear it for lounging, but not for sleeping.

Most plus sized gowns are too large in the neck, and too small in the hips. Not so with this gown. It doesn't slide off of my shoulders, and it doesn't bind around my hips when I roll over at night. It's just thick enough to keep me warm, but not too thick. To top it off it's a pretty and complimentary design.

i have had my gown for almost 2 weeks and have already had to sew the side seam back together by the arm pit. it is not because it is too tight because it is very roomy...i have no clue why it did this plus it looks as thought i might have to sew the other side hem pretty soon.

This nightgown would have been the greatest style if the fabric were a cotton knit. The woven fabric just doesn't move with you when you are sleeping. I wish it were cotton knit. I like the idea of it being sleepless. Overall it is a nice nightgown but in the wrong fabric.

I have been looking for long natural fabric gowns FOREVER. Now if we only had some summer weight tee shirt cotton (long) gowns.
