I use it in the morning when I get up to keep my arms and shoulders warm. At night when I am sitting watching TV or reading to keep the chill off. It is very comfortable, not too heavy. If someone had to go into the hospital I am sure it will work fine to help with modesty issues.

This product is cute, comfortable, and a quick cover up for me especially since I'm in a wheelchair. However, the sleeves are a tad short for me personally since I am 5'7" with the extremities of a 6' person, so please don't base your decision on the sleeve length based on my review. : )
I resolved this problem quickly on my own by cutting of the knitted cuffs and hemming the sleeves with a small hem...wala!...Very comfortable 3/4 sleeve bed jacket! Wish I only had shorter arms then I could have left the very soft knitted cuffs on... : (

I was so excited to get this product I threw away the shipping package knowing I would love it???...especially after re-ordering because the size was wrong the first time due to clicking on the wrong button on the internet : (I was so excited but to my dissapointment the sleeves were much too short and I haven't even washed it yet...Oh No!Since this is my second try at this particular garment[...]can't afford to send it back...on my own this time, because I had thrown away the shipping package and return label. I did how ever like the item other than the short arms, but can't use it, so I will give it away...especially since I got it for half price through a special promo and the S/H is more than I paid for it. Loved the style and size - this is a hard to find item. Very attractive, versatile and feminine. Looks great but has a tendency to shrink up an inch and wrinkle every time it is washed. For better fit, fabric should be all polyester instead of cotton/polyester. Bought several for nursing home patient. Needs to be easier to wash and wear.

This bed jacket is warm and cozy but not at all bulky; the jacket length gives you much more freedom of movement than a full-length or floor-length robe. Really comfortable when reading in bed...it's soft and cozy. I love the pockets and the "sweatshirt" type cuffs.

I am begining to not like short or sleeveless night wear. So this jacket is the perfect thing for me.

I really liked this item until I washed it. It shrunk length-wise over 2 inches. What used to be a hip length jacket now stops at the waist and that's not where I wanted it to end. Other wise, it has remained soft and comfortable. I'd recomend it to a friend but, warn them of the shrinkage issue.
I would not purchase this item again
