This royal purple robe is lovely and is so soft. It is warm but not overly so. Great for a woman who experiences hot flashes. The length is perfect for going up and down stairs with a cup of coffee and a book. No tripping over a hem! I like very much that the sleeve length is near quarter length. I bought a red one for my mother for this upcoming Mother's Day. It is the perfect cover for the red waltz length gown I bought to go with it. Want she be surprised!

i was dissapointed in the sizing - all mediums from catalogue fit perfectly -this garment was not a true "woman's" medium - more like a misses
