This is a very pretty robe, but I was extremely disappointed with the fabric. The velour is that stiff kind that's rough on the inside. It's not fluffy and soft as I expected. Although it is warm and pretty, I won't buy this robe again.

I have an old, forest green, velour robe that has been wonderful. I am trying to find a replacement. I thought this might be it but I am a little disappointed in it. I love the color, the length, the design but the inside is a satiny fabric that is not warm enough for what I need. I live in an old house without insulation and I was looking for a heavy velour robe to replace my old one. I will try this one for cool spring and summer mornings but I will keep looking for a replacement for my winter robe. Please describe the inside of your robes in the future so that I can make a better choice. I am not sure that buying clothes online is going to work for me.

[...]I was very excited when it finally arrived. The arms are a couple of inches too short, and the upper chest/shoulder area is a bit snug. The body of the robe is the perfect size. I suppose I could have ordered a size larger, but then I would have been swimming in it. As I'm losing weight, I hope that soon the robe will fit better through the shoulder area.The color is gorgeous, a nice rich red and the material and construction of the garment seem to be of a good quality. We'll see what happens when I wash it. The length is perfect.

I love the color of this because it is vibrant. It is comfortable for the most part, but the zipper and the seams are scratchy against my skin. The fabric feels nice on the outside but on the inside it could be quite a bit softer. The fabric could be a little thicker because this is a winter gown. It has a nice roomy feel to it and moves nicely with me not against me.
