bought it for the robe it was listed as. was hoping it would not shrink any after washing but the sleeves are right above my elbow now and it's a little shorter. i would really like it if it had no hood but it was a good price and cute so I'll deal with the hood.

Purchased for my mother who is taking water physical therapy as a cover-up. Originally searching for a terry cloth robe and found this by searching on the website. Realized by reading the other reviews that French terry is not terry cloth but similar to a thicker t-shirt material. Would have preferred terry cloth but very happy with this choice especially for the price. Seems well made and a good fit.
I didn't want a robe with a hood but this one had the sleeve length I wanted and I liked the white trim against the color. The royal blue wasn't what I wanted but the coral was out of stock...still nice color.
I washed it in cold water, took it out of the dryer before cycle was up and it was alot shorter. Before it was about at the middle of my leg and now it's about at my knees or little below. Most cotton/polyester items I have don't draw up. It is now shorter than the nightshirts I wanted to wear it over. I was hoping to take it on a visit to my son's house. I will probably keep it as I haven't been able to find a robe in the stores. It will look a little odd with the nightshirt hanging out unless I can find a shorter nightshirt before I go.
I also ordered the 1X which should have been too big...I was allowing for shrinking. Good thing I did as it now fits closer than I wanted.
If it didn't lose a few inches of length when washed and the seam in the hood looked nicer(if it has to have a hood)I would really be pleased with it. A hood is the last thing I want on a robe.I like the material but don't buy it thinking it will be like a terry towel....more tee-shirt like. If I had known it would draw up shorter I would have ordered the long one but being 5'2" I didn't want to walk all over the long one. I would only recommend this to a friend if I told them it will probably get shorter and more fitted than you want.

THE ROBE IS GREAT FITS WELL AND IS COMFORTABLE FROM TOP TOO BOTTOM .. I USUALLY LOOK FOR BUTTONS OR SNAPS, THE ZIPPER IS WORKING JUST FINE.

I wanted a summer robe, and spent over [$] on one that was too long sleeved, too warm. Then almost [$] on another one that is too long and too long sleeved. That one will be fine after I spend more to have it hemmed and sleeves shortened. I found this one and it is perfect as is. Comfortable, right length, OK to run out and pick up paper in. And a fraction of what I paid for the others.

I bought the robe in my size and it did run a little small.I like my night wear to be kinda loose,so if you do also, get the next larger size,I returned it got the next larger size and now you cant get this sucker off!!!!It is very soft and washes well.I love it!!!

I wear it almost every morning. The color is wonderful, the length is great. The sizing is
very generous. Good lightweight robe for the warmer months.
Only problem is that the zipper sometimes gets stuck near the top where some fabric is sewn too close to it. But I would consider buying another one in another color.

I was very pleasantly surprised the first time I wore it and the comfort and fit. I really like it when I don't get dressed right away, I still can answer the door and feel like I am dressed. I washed it the first time and it came out just wonderful, like the day I bought it.

We purchased this for our vacation we are getting ready to take. It looked comfortable and was very affordable. We are going to use it as a coverup for our bathing suits.
This is a very nice robe. I was concerned about it having a hood, but I shouldn't have been. It fits great and looks really nice on.

This is the greatest summer/spring/early fall bath robe. I even can wear it outside around my pool area. Washes well, a little shrinkage the first time wash, but it is cotton afterall. Very true to size but has roominess. Size med fit me great at 5'4" 178lbs.
I am buying in all colors just so I have them. Would make great gifts.
