I had previous ordered 1 pair of these pants and loved them. This time I orderd 4 pairs (different colors). I ordered a second pair of black pants (my first order's color), SAME SIZE, and they are shorter than my original pair. The other pairs I have seem okay but it's almost as if they mis-tagged this pair of pants. Unfortunately I wore them to work before realizing they were like this, so I can't return them. I have these pants in several colors and wear them daily. They are all I buy. My only problem is when I get them, the lengths have a tendancy to vary. Sometimes they are over my ankles(which I hate), somethimes they are down over my shoes (but that's ok because they shrink a little), and sometimes they are just right. You never know what you're going to get when you order them. Also, the fabrics are different. I can order 3 pairs just alike and when they come they're different fabrics.

I ordered the recommended size but this slack feels a trifle snug. After only a couple washings (yes, in cold water) the length has shrunk so that it hits me on the ankles and looks dorky in my opinion. This is the same problem I already have with other 'regular' length pants, so I didn't gain much by buying a 'tall' size here. On the plus side (no pun intended) I ordered the dark brown and it seems colorfast so far. But I would recommend ordering one size up if you are looking for comfort as I was. I find the elastic waist rides high and that does not help in trying to achieve length. I am rating it as ok and giving it a pass as the material at least seems thicker than many.

These are cheap pants, but they are good for what they are. From experience, I know after several washings/dryings, the pants will shrink and look really weird (too small, clingy) from the knee down when I wear them, then I won't wear them anymore. But for now, they are good, inexpensive, comfortable, business casual pants I can wear and look just fine.

I purchased these pants in the tall and had to return for the regular length. In the past I have learned that in time they do shrink in length and I like my pants to cover my ankles. But this time these are way too long. I have and will order these pants again. They pair up nicely with the over sized polo top of the same color.
