The sweater fits me very well. The color is true black. Around the tail is a binding that I really like. I haven't washed it,it has to washed on a gentle cycle and this is somtimes a problem for me. Since I plan to wear the sweater on special occasions I can handle that.

I bought the sweater to go with an outfit and it is shorter than the tunic that goes under it. It is fine to go over other shirts that match the pants.
