The weather hasn't been cold enough to wear this coat yet, but I liked it the minute I tried it on. I purchased it for everyday use, and I like the lighter feel (not heavy and bulky like some coats) and I wanted a coat with a hood. We live in the country and have lots of woods, and this coat will be perfect for winter walks with the dogs. There is still plenty of room to put sweaters on underneath, as well. I am happy with it so far.

I love this jacket, even if it runs a bit big (I normally wear a 3X, but the 1X is still a bit roomy). The inner nylon-quilt lining makes it very comfortable to wear, and the ribbed collar does a great job of keeping my neck warm and the wind out. It's a bit heavy, but warm without being too hot or cold. I had a coat like this a while ago and have looked to find another just like it. This one is just what I was looking for!

Let me start off by saying I loved this coat! But what's happened with the sizing? The coat fit beautifully but I could hardly get my arms in the sleeves. I checked an old coat to see if the sleeves were too tight too and they had ample room. So, what's up? I want to wear a winter coat with a heavy sweater. If I get a bigger coat to fit my arms then the warmth factor will be negated by being too big in the body... go figure. Anyway, I returned the coat and will use my old one that fits better but looks like it should be replaced. Darn.

This Jacket is going to be really warm. I like the fact that it zips up and then snaps separately. If you feel too warm don't snap it up. The cuffs will surely keep the winter wind out. The hood felt large to me. But if it is really snowing the protection will be more than enough.

This is my second of these jackets (this one is taupe; other one is navy). Only flaw is that pockets (unlike those of most coats) are not lined; when I put my hands in the pockets I feel the raw seam edges. On a tailored coat that would be a major flaw; on a casual coat I would take hiking or camping, I can live with it. The coat is comfortable and durable. Works for me.

The only flaw I found with this coat is the zipper. It has a double zipper and it takes me awhile to zip it up. At times I have no luck at all and my husband has to do it for me.

Only flaw is that inside of pockets are not finished/lined (was surprised the first time I put my hands in the pockets and felt the seam selvages). I bought this coat for the in between days when it is not real cold here in Chicago, but you do need a little added warmth but not the bulk of a heavy winter coat. I can put a sweater underneath if I need to or go without. The big thing is having that great collar that zips up and protects my neck. this was not what I expected. I was looking for a dress coat for spring. When I received the stadium coat and tried it on I liked it so I decided to keep it and order a rain or shine coat for spring.
