It is a stylish coat to go out on the town like out to dinner or some type of gathering or sort. But it should only be worn occasionally when it is very cold outside because it internalizes lots of heat when being worn. The disadvantage to wearing the jacket is that it is somewhat bulky, it can become a burden to wear if you are carrying several shopping bags at one time. When zippering the coat it sometimes began to get stuck when attempting to zip it up or down.

This jacket is perfect. Coming from N.E. it seems that wearing a heavy coat is just too much for so many months. So this is just right and will probably get me through from fall to maybe January, especially if I wear layered clothing underneath the jacket. The sleeves are way long but worth a trip to the taylor. I have never understood why sleeves are made for gorillas instead of humans, that being said, it's great.
I now have 3 of these jackets, great !

I ordered down because so many said it runs large and now I have to pay for return shipping to get a larger size.
If you live in a cold area (like Michigan) and want to wear this with a sweater or sweatshirt underneath do not order down a size.
I felt the bust ran a little small.
I guess everyone has their own opinion since we are not all shaped the same.
They are attractive and I am hoping they will be warm. It seems like they will be. Not cold enough yet to test that.

The jacket is really nice. Ordered 3X as I always do and found the coat to be really big. I was afraid to send it back and get smaller because it maight have been too small. Had to have it tailored in the sleeves as they were huge! That was quite an expense [$]. The jacket is beautiful despite the little issues. Just keep in mind that they run big!

I exchanged the product since the sizing ran large. When I sent the item back to exchange size, I also asked for them to change the color. At times it is hard to gauge color in a catalogue.
Unfortunately, they sent the smaller size and the same color, this was a disappointment.
