I read all the favorable reviews, and if I didn't run hot most of the time, I would have loved this jacket. It is very bulky, warm, and very heavy (weight). I would have to wear a tank top under it to survive the warmth, even in very cold weather. It's just too hot with that added thermal lining. After ordering 4 different jackets with no success, I decided to keep this one, but I am going to remove the thermal lining (except keeping the hood liner for looks). Then maybe I'll finally get the weight coat I want with just fleece. It should be warm even removing the liner, and probably still a bit too warm for me, but I will only be wearing it in really cold weather.

I will use this jacket for everyday casual use. It hasn't been cold enough to wear this yet, but after trying it on, I feel comfortable that it will take me through the winter running my errands to keep me warm. It is pretty heavy on, and I think it's because of the hood that makes it feel that way. I will post again once I am able to wear it and let you all know how warm and comfortable it is. It is much more stylish than just a regular sweatshirt jacket.

We keep the thermostat low all winter so this jacket will be worn indoors as well as outdoors. Even the sleeves keep you warm. Very good construction. Not too bulky. Blocks the wind. I live in the Northeast and our Spring and Fall months can have damp and chilly to the bone kinds of days. This fleece jacket will really feel good on those kinds of days! You can throw the hood up for drizzley type of days or if the wind howls. I put a little bit of elastic around the cuff of the sleeves as my arms are always too short for most long sleeved items and it does the trick ...no more push up sleeves!!! Great Jacket--I first bought this last year for work in the Navy color and this year bought the exact same coat so I could have one all ready to wear in case one got dirty. I use this in Minnesota in my job as a school bus aide. It gives me the warmth I need plus enough room to pile on the layers underneath in case it gets below zero temperature-wise. Very comfortable.

I bought this jacket in light grey last winter and I love it! It is perfect when I don't want to wear my formal winter jacket (that even though lined doesn't always keep me warm). If I have to do ANYTHING outside for any length of time when the weather is cold, I wear this jacket. With the thermal lining it is really warm and cozy. I guess it wouldn't be the best choice for rain though, it isn't water repellant.

I really like the vertical lines the jacket has. It's slimming. The only thing I am disappointed in, is that there is no drawstring on the hood - but some people don't mind about that. Haven't decided whether to return it or not. I think it's a 'heavier' jacket than it seems to appear in the photo. That can be a 'plus' or a 'minus', depending on the type of weather you want it for. I love the length.
