I haven't worn these during winter weather with boots, but I plan to. Right now they are perfect with sandals and a t-shirt or a dressier top. I love the flare. The only thing that I don't like is the pocket flap on the hip pockets. It spoils the line of longer shirts and tops.

These are very comfortable and the rise is perfect. They are well tailored and except for the length which is a tad too long (I took them up with a few stitches) they are perfect.
They look really nice and the back pockets are button down so they look neater than flap pockets usually do. I suppose I could iron them, but I haven't-they don't seem to need it that much. I like them and they don't make me look fat. They look nice with sneakers and with sandals too.

I love these gauchos. I purchased them in every color. The white I wore at a fancy dining occasion and paired it with a black and white beaded top with black strappy sandals. Stunning. I wore the denim on the weekend to the movies. The black I have yet to wear, but they are so versatile. Fit is nice, except there are flap pockets in the back that may enhance your derriere, but I wore longer tops so it was not a problem.
