I thought this coat would be a little bit warmer than it is, however in our temperatures (average right now is in the 20's and 30's) it is just fine. I wear sweatshirts to work so with this coat over a sweatshirt I do stay nice and warm. The attached hood was mainly what I was looking for in a coat because of the convenience and for that reason alone, this coat has met my expectations. The only thing I encountered that was somewhat odd, was the pockets were sewed shut when it arrived. I just undid the thread (about an inch in length in the middle of the pocket) and now I have usuable pockets, and it didn't damage the rest of the coat at all. I love this jacket and it will be great for early spring and fall as well because it is lightweight.
