I bought this to take on an Alaskan trip. Especially like that the lining and the hood are removeable. So I can wear without lining on the plane and then on cruise can insert lining if necessary. Will also wear this winter at home - Ohio winters can be really cold.

I usually wear an XL. This comes in Large and then 1X, 2X, etc. the Large was a little tight the 1X was a little too roomy. Seems to be a big jump in sizing between L and 1X. Other than that, great fall jacket for cool weather and rainy day wear.

I was looking for a jacket to take on an Alaskan cruise. This one seems perfect. With the zip out liner, it can be used for any kind of weather. However, I originally ordered this in a 1X, which I usually wear, but this was too small. I ordered a 2x and it fits fine. I would advise ordering a size larger than you would normaly wear.

This jacket is great for outdoor events, because you can add/remove the lining if the weather changes. If you are planning to wear a sweater or something bulky underneath, I would order a size larger. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the quality and features.

I like the style - love the color(capri blue)! But am surprised that it was too tight in shoulders- short & in the arms. I've order many jackets from Woman Within and though I knew your sizing. My main complaint about this jacket is the way the liner connects to the jacket. The snaps in the sleeves do not stay connected and neither do the ones at the neckline. Also, when the liner isn't used the facing that it connects to is constantly showing and looks kind of tacky. I've thought of tacking it down myself.

I bought this jacket for an Alaskan cruise and have just returned. It was perfect! It kept me warm and cozy while cruising on Glacier Bay and when we went into a port, I removed the fleece lining and the jacket packed easily into my bag. The weather was very changeable and it worked perfectly for this mid-July in Alaska vacation. I also carried it around in Victoria and Seattle, although it turned out that I didn't need it. It packed up nicely and weighed very little.
It's worth the money and more!

Sleeves snug with lining. Would prefer lining not to be removable. Jkt. would be a lot less bulky and sleeves would fit and feel a lot better. Would make a better fit all around. You need to readjust your sizes. 12-14, 16-18, 20-22, 24-26, etc. Clothes just don't fit me. Way too big at bust.

This is the 3rd jacket I've purchased in the last year. I have one at home in MA and one at each of my vacation cabins (on an island off the coast and VT mountains). I can use them with/without the liner whether it's snowing (warm and water resistant), rainy/drizzly without liner in fall/summer/spring. It has great wind resistance so it's perfect out on the boat. I have travelled with these jackets and was thrilled to have the liner and hood in a snowstorm in Switzerland last summer and on a raw rainy day in Venice. Without the liner it rolls up quite small and is great to throw in a backpack with an elastic around the jacket. Sleeve length is a little short, but I'm 5'11".

Wonderful Jacket, I usually stand out in the cold air or rain with only a flannel shirt for protection. I go home after the weekend of camping and proceed to cure my new cold. I was surprised to find the jacket had no lining, other than the zip out fleece. The inside of the fabric is not comfortable against the skin. Since I got it at a good price I will keep it and add my own lining. If I had paid full price I would have returned it.

Most useful for light winter wear and layering is great to shed when things warm up. Water resistant is nice option, but is not for heavy rain. Packs well.

NO MATTER WHAT COLOR OUTFIT I AM WEARING I NOW HAVE A GREAT JACKET TO MATCH. AS THE WEATHER GETS COOLER I WILL PUT IN THE "ZIP IN" LINING. Did not favor design on hood and lining attachment at neck and sleeves. Did not favor the tie strings at bottom and waist of jacket.

The good thing is that it is a veratile jacket with zip out linning.
I have for some time now found quality control lacking. I returned the original jacket that I ordered because the snaps were coming through the matterial. The second is a different material and not as packable as the first and is a different color. I feel that being surprised at time of delivery is not a good thing when ordering my E-mail.
E-mail especially relies on the company doing the inspection of the garment for you. Reliability ensures repeat orders.
It is not just this jacket either. I find in consistencies in the sizing of the same item from one piece to another. Example: I have been orderin the basic big shirt for some time now and according to my most recent order I thought that I had put on weight
