I of course use the gloves to keep my old hands warm. These do the trick. They are a little bulky but I can still feel the steering wheel of my car while driving down the road. These gloves are easy to clean even after feeding the horses and getting horse slobber on the gloves. I just don't care for the color but, hey, they come in other colors, I just picked an ugly color.

A great little freebie with a recent order. These are nice, warm gloves with a textured palm great for shoveling, playing in the snow with the kids, or as an "x-tra" pair to keep in the car in case of emergency. Designed like ski gloves and could be used for ski, too, but wouldn't hold up on a tow rope! Gotta be "chair-ready" to use these for ski.

Wouldn't be Without Them!
By Amber FoxVerified Purchaser from North Plainfield, NJ on 3/5/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Useful, Versatile
Cons:
Bulky
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Commuting, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These gloves are quite warm and fit well. They have other practical uses. For example, I personally find that the palms of the gloves help me with my dexterity issues (possible carpal tunnel), such as gripping hand rails to help board a train. I even find them useful for scraping snow and frost off my car windows (in a pinch).

My only complaint is that they are rather bulky for most of my coat pockets.

Are they ski gloves?
By TicoVerified Purchaser from Camarillo, CA on 3/5/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable
Cons:
Bulky, Only wear in the snow
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Outside in cold weather
Describe Yourself:
Classic
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I thought they were going to be like driving gloves which I would use but they are bulky like ski gloves. I will probably wear them when I go out to the desert at night or the snow. They fit good and feel good but the thumb is a little too close to other fingers so it feels like I can't open my hands all the way.

Warm, but no grip
By BlessesdVerified Purchaser from Bristol, CT on 3/4/2008
Pros:
Large is tight, Stylish
Best Uses:
Travel
Describe Yourself:
Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical

The large size is tight fitting. There is no grip on the inside of the gloves. If you're holding on to the car and it's wet, the gloves don't grip but slide which could cause you to fall. Same thing holding on to a rail. The gloves does not grip.

Gloves match coat I ordered from WW. I assumed since WW clothing fit women of size, that the "large" gloves would be sized on that order. I know that you know what assuming does.(smile)
I loved the design, the color , the style but they did not fit comfortably. Very tight. Would only recommend for women with average size hands.
